Tampa Shelter Notes:
Bella is listed as an owner surrender, – Owner is surrendering because the dog got out again and he suspects her right rear leg is broken. He does not know how she got injured, and cannot afford another surgery.
Bella is a really sweet 2 year old spayed pittie who is in need of a rescue. She has a previously surgically repaired left femur and tibia with some loss of function at the hock and stifle, and a recent right tibial/fibular fracture that appears repairable.
She also has hip dysplasia on the right side. Heartworm negative. Rescue needs to pursue repair at outside facility.

Bella is going into surgery now!! donations are very much needed as we pick her up in a couple hours. She has a long road of recovery ahead of her because the other back leg is also severely damaged from a prior injury. She is the most sweetest and loving dog despite the pain and agony she was feeling on the inside!
We lowered her goal to $1550 now that we have an estimate to reflect the cost of surgery and follow-up care. Please share her campaign and let’s Reach This goal quick!

Bella’s surgery went very well and she is now recovering with her wonderful foster who knows how to properly care for this type of situation. Her final bill was lower than they expected but she will need some good supplements and meds for her arthritis so anything above $1300 will help cover those costs. She deserves every penny!! This girl is so easy going and will make a fantastic pet to her next family!
Bella has signs of dysplasia in her right hip and arthritis in her left and right knees. She is just shy of 3 years old and will always need a home that will make sure she doesn’t overdo herself! Once healed she will be totally mobile and able to use both back legs! We hope she has a speedy and successful recovery!
