Grants

What We Do:

We provide grants to local rescues to help Dogo Argentinos in their care.

Who Can Apply:

Applicants must be established 501c3 rescue organizations.  We do not awards grants to individuals or any other organizations.  Will verify this status before awarding a grant.

For the Dogs:

The dog for which you are applying must be a bona-fide, pure-bred Dogo Argentino.  We do not provide grant funds for “dogo-mixes” or any other breed of dog that may be similar to a Dogo Argentino.

How to Apply:

Send an introductory email to dcdogos@gmail.com listing your organization, tax-id number, the dog for which you are requesting funds, and identify the amount of funds you are requesting and what the funds are needed for. Please include at least two photos of the dog to include a photo from the front and a profile photo that shows the dog’s muzzle length.

Once we have verified tha the Dog is a bona-fide Dogo Argentino and have reviwed the case, if approved and funds are available, we will advise a conditional approval of the grant request. We will then request a copy of your IRS Determination Letter, a veterinary reference, and funds transfer information.  Once we have verified your rescue’s status, will make a final grand award and disperse payment.
